computers, holidays and memes - oh my!

The drives aren’t getting power, so I know how to fix it. It’s just that when I tried to last night it just would not work. At all. The IDE cables were in right, the master/slave setting s were set right but no cookies for Mel. It just wouldn’t recognize the drives. Ohwells.
I have the whole of next week off! This has worked out so well. I’m day shift on Saturday, back shift on Sunday then off Monday-Thursday. Day shift on Friday and then off ’til Monday at 4pm. It’s amazingly good.
