Oh, my, GOD! Captain Jack Harkness was riding the TARDIS. He was riding it. There is no other way to put it. It was…ohh love! And the ‘my space/time travel is better than yours’ conversation? Had me *squeeeing* out load, much to the amusement of the boyfriend.
Loved the conversation about why Nine left Jack behind, because he knew that he was immortal and would be fine. If Jack lived through WWII, then has he not already met Rose and Nine before in the episodes “The Empty Child” and “The Doctor Dances”, since they’re in WWII? Or..am I getting the timey-wimey stuff wrong here? Whatever, Ten manages to make Jack smile, which makes Ten smile and ohhh two smiling time travellers. I’m happy again. Even without Rose.
And I just knew that Prof. Yana was either going to be The Master/the Doctor’s son. I was so happy that he was the Master. That was amazing. I cannot wait for next Saturday…
