Are you using Firefox to it’s full potential?

I’ve been a Firefox convert since around 2000. Obviously over the past 8 years I’ve picked up tips and tricks to use Firefox to it’s full potential - question is, are you?

  1. 1. Use the middle button of your mouse (yep, the scroll button) to click on links. This will open the link in a new tab automatically
  2. 2. Right click on any search box (like the one in the right hand column) and select “Add a keyword for this search”. Give it a name and keyword and then you can search that site via your address bar by typing keyword <search string>. I.e - google britney spears
  3. 3. Pressing CTRL and + or CTRL and - will increase or decrease the font size. Set back to normal text size with CTRL and 0
  4. 4. Press / and type to find text in the tab that’s open
  5. 5. Install Colourful Tabs Plugin for a prettier UI
  6. 6. Complete web addresses easily and quickly. Type in the domain name you wish to browse to, i.e. google and then press CTRL and ENTER to auto add .com, SHIFT and ENTER for .net and CTRL and SHIFT and ENTER for .org
  7. 7. CTRL and SHIFT and T will re-open the last closed tab.Press again for the tab before that..and again for the one before that and so on.

What are your favorite Firefox tips and tricks?
