That's nice of you to find someone more competent to teach you to drive. I've tried to learn to drive from my parents, but they're both miserable failures at teaching. My Dad expected someone who'd never touched a steering wheel before to be able to execute 3 parking maneuvers in a row perfectly, let alone the fact that I'd never before set foot on a gas pedal. My mother bitches so much that you nearly wreck the car the minute it's out of park. I'm sure you'll be driving like a pro. I’ve tried to learn to drive from my parents, but they’re both miserable failures at teaching.
